*This Summer, Share The Tale of Despereaux* with the Entire Family!**
	Spend a few minutes each night, reading The Tale of Despereaux with your family. Then, at the end of August, join us for a discussion about the experience of sharing the story with your whole family. This will be a family event, so every child must share the story with an adult and bring that adult to the discussion meeting.
	The Tale of Despereaux, also known as The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse, a Princess, Some Soup, and a Spool of Thread, is a 2004 Newbery Medal winning children's fantasy book written by Kate DiCamillo. It tells the story of a mouse, named Despereaux, on a quest to rescue a beautiful human princess. It has also been selected as the children's ONE BOOK NEW JERSEY book of 2010.
